As a Material Handler you will be supporting the movement of material throughout our Big Pole value stream for the Pole Division. Are you interested in joining our team? As a Material Handler you are responsible for the identification and location of specific component parts, preparation of product for shipment and delivering the materials/products to their intended locations. Responsibilities Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together, using banders, tape, padding, shrink wrap or other materials Use crane, hoist, forklift or other material handling equipment to transport materials and product into and out of the work area as required Verify quantities listed on manufacturing documentation are met and items conform to prints Properly organize and store material Maintain organization of products and raw materials Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE. Promptly report all injuries and unsafe conditions Regular and on-time attendance for full scheduled work shift schedule Maintain a favorable working relationship with coworkers to promote a cooperative working climate conducive to maximum productivity, efficiency and effectiveness Participate and support Continuous Improvement initiatives Maintains5S guidelines Communicate relevant information and concerns positively and effectively to others in timely manner Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements Other duties as assigned Job Requirements/Qualifications Needed High School diploma or equivalent Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered Affirmative Action/ Equal Opportunity Employer/ Veteran Friendly
