JOB SUMMARY Full time position on 4th shift 6am to 6pm - Friday through Sunday * Access the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment * Verify kits, enter Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions * Use appropriate mats and all required tooling * Check equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance * Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision * May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies * Notify leadership of any shut down situations * Enter data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final unit * Enter quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required * All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction. Level II * Perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above * Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators * Build subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings * Perform systems integration specific hand solder and inspection operations per documented instructions * Perform F-cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations * Perform final inspection of unit to ensure there are no visible defects or finger prints and wipe down unit as needed * Add user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels, etc. per documented instructions * May assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre-production builds * Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under moderate supervision * Mentor other co-workers in assembly activities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES N/A QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma or GED; 1+ years of experience in basic SI assembly (new build lines, subassembly/final assembly( Equal Opportunity Employer It is the policy of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. to base all employment-related decisions on principles of equal employment opportunity.
