General Purpose of Job
This position will be accountable for production planning & scheduling, incorporating sales and forecasts into production, coordinating shared tooling and overseeing inventory accuracy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Coordinate tooling shared across multiple plants and production lines.• Communicate with plant & production managers on a regular, ongoing basis to review forecasts including project delivery dates, sizes, tooling needs etc. to manage production schedule.• Maintain a rolling 4-week production schedule to drive material resource planning. Communicate with material and consumables buyers.• Responsible for managing and improving the overall inventory management process including cycle counts and manual inventory adjustments. • Potential for joining and/or leading project teams on improvement initiatives.
