The individual in this position will be responsible for providing day to day work assignments and training for a specified group of employees under the authority of the area supervisor. May, as required, perform the same work as the employees in that group. Previous paint experience is preferred but not necessary. Will train the right individual.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Allocatework at the direction of the area supervisor
Instructs, corrects and trains employees in the properuse of equipment and performance of their work, paying particular attention toquality
Plans, schedules and coordinates the efforts of thegroup
Provides necessary assistance and training to turn outa superior product encouraging employees to do their best
Reports poor quality and other matters detrimental togood operations to the area supervisor
Corrects or reports unsafe work conditions orpractices
May perform other task assignments as directed
Continually monitor employee operations for qualityand correctness
Work with other departments to schedule and coordinateparts

Knowledge of paint line and parts
Ability to properly use and instruct others on use oftools, instruments and other equipment necessary in work area assigned to
Ability to communicate well and work effectively withvarious types of employees
Ability to drive or gain ability to drive forklift
Computer and blueprint knowledge helpful but notnecessary
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED
