Performs pre-finishing duties, including preparing surfaces for spray operations, applying stain and sealant, drying and bundling materials for shipping.

  • Reads work orders and pulls needed materials to complete the job.

  • Informs lead or management of material shortages.

  • Inspects finished products to ensure workmanship and quality adheres to company standards prior to shipping.

  • Oversees disposal of flammable, toxic chemical (rags and filters) and other debris per safety/ hazardous materials requirements; ensures that workshop is kept clean and orderly.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent work experience. This is an entry level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training. Knowledge of safety procedures while performing tasks. Knowledge of use of hand held and mechanical painting app
