Machinist

Exciting DIRECT HIRE Machinist opportunity for a growing company located in Shakopee. They support the automation industry by supplying new parts to be used. Are you ready to continue your career? Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Load and unload machines (automated and manual)

• Change and replace worn or broken tooling

• Inspect parts

• Set up CNC machines

• Problem solve general machining issues

• Perform maintenance tasks on machines

• Correctly handle all production paperwork

• Adjust equipment as needed (offset changes)

• Follow safety rules and keep clean/orderly work area

• Perform other duties as required or assigned

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 11 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
