Aerotek Electromechanical Assembler in SHAKOPEE, Minnesota
Build a variety of cable assemblies using drawings and procedures. Perform verification tests to cables once completed. Assemble electronic controllers using drawings and procedures. Perform detailed testing to control units to verify compliance to all specifications. Perform simple continuity tests and calibrations. Maintain control over required inventory and ensure that all bins are correctly labeled. Maintain a neat and organized work area. Work closely with engineering to correct and improve products and procedures. Work closely with others within the electronics area and other work areas as required.
The candidate would also float to the final pump assembly department.
- Assemble any type of Controller Sub-Assembly as needed. (20%)
- Assemble any Controller platform and configuration within these platforms. (20%)
- Assembly and configuration of Cable Assemblies (40%)
- Perform product verification and testing to ensure the product meets all internal specifications and or customer specifications. (10%)
- Package any type of product for Shipping Department when needed (10%)
Monday - Friday 6/7 am to 3:30/4:30pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Gamma would like to see a minimum of 6 months of assembly experience, with soldering and schematics/blueprint experience as a huge plus. ESD knowledge is also a plus.
