MACHINE OPERATOR

This company, located in Vadnais Heights, provides precision metal fabrication services to other industries both locally and around the world.

Shift:

2nd shift

Pay:

$16 - $17.25/hr

This position is not available by public transportation and requires a background check and drug test upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Using a print, verifies that specified hardware is installed in the correct location.

• Positions, aligns, and bolts specified dies over anvil and ram of machine and positions fixtures in machine bed.

• Prepares a pick list for required hardware to subtract from inventory.

• Turns knobs and sets screws to adjust depth and pressure limit of ram stroke.

• Deliver first piece to inspection for verification of dimensions and hardware location.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time
