ManpowerGroup Line Operator Entry Level in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota

This position will support pilot line production including set-up, changeover, and operating pilot line equipment with a manufacture of sealed Insulated Glass and Smart glass units for the window market. This role will be responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of orders, verifying product quality, and maintaining a safe work environment. This is an entry level role that will provide training on all aspects of the position.

Hours: 6:30am-3pm, M-F- $16.00 per hour

Duration: 6-18 months with an opportunity to get hired on and grow within the company. Profit sharing and full benefits package is available once hired one perm.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe work environment.

Learn and operate pilot line equipment

Ensuring timely execution of production orders

Operate inspection equipment

Document activities as appropriate - i.e. logbook, inspection walk throughs, etc.

Handling and transporting glass with proper personal protective equipment

Work in a cleanroom environment and handle materials as needed.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis.

Assist in the installation of new equipment.

Suggest equipment modifications to increase machine efficiency and improve quality.

Additional Projects as needed by the Plant Manager

Drive a forklift and support the receiving area as needed

Record product test data and provide notes on results

Daily cleaning of production area and equipment or as needed

Overtime as needed

Experience and Skills

High School Diploma (Required)

Reliable transportation (Required)

Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Maintain professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
