Please email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to: Domaille Engineering 7100 Dresser Drive NE Rochester, MN 55906 Attention: Alison Hicks Core Responsibilities: - Assemble electrical or electronic systems and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, assembly cases using rivets, bolts and other various items that are part of our optical fiber connector equipment product line. This includes polishing machines, curing ovens, microscopes, etc. - Test product to ensure compliance to specifications as well as functionality. - Troubleshoot issues that arise during the assembly process. - Equipment maintenance and repair of purchased optical product equipment. - Assembles various parts to specifications and drawings utilizing proper tools and equipment to meet time and quality standards, some assemblies requiring the use of a microscope. - Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports. - May need to remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce required fit between parts. - Ensures parts used in assembly are correct, functional and of high quality. - Inspects assembled parts for zero defects. - Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges. - Informs supervisor of parts not in tolerance. - Looks for assembly or process improvements that result in increased quality and/or productivity. - Assists in development and maintenance of assembly methods, including assembly drawings, bill of materials and written procedures. - Seeks out additional duties when needed. - Demonstrates cooperation and teamwork with co-workers, management, and outside contacts. - Makes proper use of equipment and tools for assembly and inspection.
