Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Conceptual and technical mindset with attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communications. Demonstrates an understanding of controls, instrumentation, tooling, managing supplies and inventory. Previous experience in an apprenticeship and/or machinist program is ideal, but not necessarily a requirement if previous training or experience deems candidate qualified for the position.
