Duties and Responsibilities: Set-up, Operate and troubleshoot Bobst Folder Gluer Read and understand Job Tickets, Planning Sheets and Layouts to prepare and run jobs Ensures and is accountable for accuracy of product counts, quality, and meeting customer specifications. Maintain a clean, neat and safe workspace Basic maintenance on equipment, ie greasing belts and part ordering. Attend production meetings to coordinate job planning Collaborate with CAD Designer on projects and label designs Other duties as assigned The Ideal Candidate for this role will have high quality standards, mature judgement and strong organizational work habits and will thrive in an environment guided by our core Values; Positive, Respectful, Innovative, Nimble and Trustworthy. Our Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up, operating and troubleshooting a Bobst M110-II folder gluer (with six-level Mactron extrusion glue system with pick and place capability) to meet daily production and quality goals in a safe and efficient manner. He/she must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the printing industry and specifically working with Folding/Gluing Machines. The operator must be able to read and measure with ruler, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals along with basic computer skills. Physical duties Continuous periods of standing while running equipment (10 hour shifts), Continuous small motor movements (Grasping, fanning, stacking); Continuous movements: bending, twisting and reaching while running equipment; Continuous lifting of 1-25bs and regular lifting up to 25-50lb, large size stacks of paper; Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus Equal Opportunity Employer: SeaChange is an equal employment opportunity employer.
