Atterro CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift in Osakis, Minnesota

CNC Machine Operator opportunity in the heart of the lakes area! Pro Staff is recruiting a 2nd Shift Machine Operator for our client company in Osakis. In this role, you ll produce parts based on blueprints, drawings, manuals, sketches and sample parts with the following core duties: Measure, mark and score dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece Choose, line up and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and materials on CNC machines Calculate/set controls to regulate machining factors Monitor machine operating to check for malfunctions or out of tolerance machining, making necessary adjustments Quality checks using tools such as calipers and micrometers Communicate with cross functional teams to resolve issues with machining or assembly Complete documentation Qualified candidates have 1+ years experience operating mills lathes or swiss machines, with strong problem solving skills. Must be able to make basic adjustments and changes to machinery. Metal saw experience and 2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or related program are preferred.
