As a Production Supervisoryou will responsible for managing daily workflow ensuring all production, quality and safety metrics are met. This position is also responsible for hiring, training and maintaining employee performance records while ensuring a safe, clean and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Eliminate, prevent and/or provide countermeasures for all quality issues

  • Ensure daily output goals are met

  • Ensure work procedures to meet production schedules and quality requirements are being adhered to at all times

  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; performance management; addressing concerns and resolving issues

  • Ensure safety and facility policies and procedures are observed and followed

  • Maintain and monitor workflow by establishing and adjusting resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs

  • Record and maintain departmental metrics in order to recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; performance management; addressing concerns and resolving issues

Education:

  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent

  • Desired: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering or related discipline

Experience:

  • 5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
