Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Prepress Supervisor As a Prepress Supervisor with Navitor Specialty Products, your leadership skills will be utilized through application to a clear and strategic vision in excellence and innovation within our prepress environment. By utilizing your skills in communication and organization to ensure goal achievement, you will promote a customer focused environment through employee engagement. You will use LEAN techniques to analyze and identify gaps in the process to improve productivity and support quality improvements. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a targeted focus on employee development and strong relationship management abilities to collaborate with several departments. Shift Available: Monday Friday 8-5 Your Responsibilities: Accomplish highly effective and quality results through your team members by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Develop highly competent staff through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities. Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Work with assigned team leads to accurately achieve results by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing quality and timely work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift summaries. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, personnel requirements; implementing change. Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and incorporating LEAN practices. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by necessary for quality output and team results for customer satisfaction. You Must Have: Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience preferred Exceptional communication skills to articulate process changes and improvements with team and leadership audiences Demonstrated experience in performance management (coaching, managing team member performance/KPIs, process improvement, strategic planning, employee development) Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and lead a high performance team independently.
