Essential Functions

• Ensures all 5S+Safety standards are followed • Direct assembly associates in daily production activities • Provides support to production personnel • Division Handbook/Policies • Vacation tracking • Cross training • Development planning • Responsible for operational execution of production plan • Coordinates weekly capacity/production rate with Planners and Operations Manager/VSM • Coordinates daily capacity/production rate with Kitters and reports out concerns to Operations Manager • Adjusts production resources as needed • Verifies Day By Hour (DxH) Board and escalates issues • Ensures Team Improvement Board (TIB) tracking is complete, accurate, and up to date • Conduct start-up and end-of-shift Production Meetings • Provides production updates to Operations Manager • Supports High Performance Team development and sustainability • Audits standard work/PMs/5S+Safety • Supports: • Continuous Improvement Initiatives • Documentation Improvement Initiatives

Qualifications

• Advocates for safe behaviors and safety improvement ideas • Demonstrated leadership experience/skill set • Strong interpersonal skills (communication – verbal and written) • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, email) • Technical skills (blueprints, work instructions, ISO documentation) • Self directed • Ability to calculate, interpret, and manage various Team Improvement Board (TIB) data • Lean/5S+Safety knowledge (preferred) • Ability to work a flexible schedule (Overtime hours) • Strong desire to enhance skills and abilities with training/further education • Performance Commitment Standing: Any associate who has received a “Written Warning” or above within the last twelve (12) months will not be considered for this opening.
