POSITION SUMMARY: This production function prepares materials and coils to precise measurements per work instructions. Employees are expected to rotate stations in a work cell. Parts are produced with the high quality requirements to ensure product integrity is not breached. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Setup and run a variety of winding machines to prepare coils for insertion, from small bench winders to the larger Samatic Winder, as well as the IOW. Manually prepare materials and insulation for stacks to the correct measurements, using a caliper, cutting board, or manual machine. Insulate stacks with slot liners. Chemical etch lead wire, beading and tubing as needed. Test coils and wires for resistance and graph results on the computer. Use magnification as needed when winding or preparing materials. Submit Engineer Change Orders, Exception Reports, and Tooling Requests using the computer and use Syspro and Material Tracking to check inventory of materials as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and wear required PPE. Daily awareness and commitment to the FOD (Foreign Object Debris). Continuously learn and apply regulatory procedures to work effectively. May work under a microscope/or lighted magnifying glass for prolonged hours. Visual inspection of all parts during all stages of the process is required. Maintain all customer expectations and follow work instructions precisely. Adhere to Company Values and Company policies in all areas of their work. Show up and be on time to work. Assume added responsibilities as assigned.
