JOB SUMMARY: The Heavy Production Helper is responsible for the handling and preparation of purchased bulk for product processing; operating equipment during production and sanitation processes, ensuring both product integrity and quality. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time: 1. Supply micro fixes with sufficient product to ensure hopper levels are maintained. 2. Operate packaging equipment efficiently and safely 3. Monitors procedures and working conditions that could result in product contamination or excessive waste 4. Communicates effectively with plant personnel 5. Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, uniformity, and packaging 6. Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping 7. Operate various machines at an efficient level to fulfill plant demands 8. Assist with sanitation and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed 9. Adhere to all aspects of company and customer safety, sanitation and site policies 10. Assists with training new employees; 11. Provides assistance to the maintenance personnel, when needed, for machine repairs or troubleshooting 12.
