MCP FOODS INC 1st shift Spray Dry Split Operator - New Ulm, MN in New Ulm, Minnesota

Key Responsibilities: * Assist operating the room/equipment. * Pick and weigh materials accurately by following production sheets. * Add materials to each batch in the accurate order and quantity. * Verify correct items have been picked before starting each batch or mix. * Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed during wash-ups. * Fill in for Powder Packer position when not assisting operator. Requirements: * High school diploma or GED required. * Minimum of one to two years of experience within a food manufacturing facility preferred. * Spray drying, blending experience and 6 months of powder packing experience preferred. * Math Ability and Computer knowledge preferred * Flexible work hours will be necessary, including occasional evening and weekend work. Physical Requirement: * Ability to lift up to 55 pound containers repeatedly. * Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day; * Frequently lift a 35 lb. product hose; * Frequently move, lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs.; * Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). * Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot and cold); * Must have the ability to operator a forklift.
