Position Summary

The Shipping Lead & Supervisor position is a working lead position that provides departmental schedule, training, direction, and improvements. This position will coordinate and perform the loading and shipping of Aaron Carlson product to jobsite using our fleet of box trucks and vans.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and communicate loading & shipping schedule priorities daily.

  • Provide the team training and support to complete the necessary work.

  • Complete loading that safely and effectively secures product for transportation.

  • Perform necessary receiving transaction as required.

  • Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, quality, cost, and output.

  • Demonstrate and exhibit company core values.

  • Support and complete other tasks as assigned.

    KEY Processes

  • Complete driver assignments and loading plans daily/weekly.

  • Complete all project ship ticket transactions for tracking and completions.

  • Perform or develop maintenance procedures to keep equipment operating effectively.

  • Complete regular 5S and organization to maintain an organized and clean work area.

  • Complete material handling process for staging of product shipments.

  • Complete materials transportation between multiple company sites.

  • Perform all receiving processes as required

Position Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must have current health card.

  • Class B license and air brake certification is a plus.

  • Forklift certified or experience.

  • Ability to consistently lift 75 lbs. or more.

Education & Training Requirements

  • 2 year Associates degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 5-10 Years Shipping experience.

  • Lead experience or progressively demonstrated increased responsibility.

  • 2 years shipping driver experience preferred
