Monitor and provide work direction to achieve maximum performance of the team while maintaining high quality standards
Provide direct feedback to supervisors regarding individual and team work performance
Provide cross-training, assistance, and guidance on tools, equipment, work instructions, product specifications, and part tolerances
Assist with operational metrics and recommend changes to ensure efficient and quality operations
Set the pace and motivate employees on respective teams to achieve operational goals
Partner with supervisors in labor planning and staff level adjustments as necessary to meet customer demand
Accurately complete forms, generate ECR’s and maintain dispatch list and report to supervisor/planner when goals will not be met
Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment, quality products, and efficient operations
Approve product and data regarding materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other operations to ensure records are accurate and quality is maintained
Troubleshoot processes or tooling related issues.
Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are available for the work group
Respond to questions and concerns from production and plant support employees
Coordinate operational reviews with other functions, and assist with identifying and implementing new or updated operations.
Perform various assembly and related quality duties within the work group, requires knowledge of the various operations, instructions, equipment, tools, and processes.
Perform other duties as assigned
Four years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
High school graduate or GED Equivalent
Experience with J-Soldering
Experience providing on the job training and work direction to others
Experience investigating and resolving problems
PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and IFS
Experience applying basic production and operational principles and practices.
Experience with laser operations
