Boston Scientific Inspector II - 1st Shift Job in Maple Grove, Minnesota

About the Role: This role partners closely with a team on the receiving inspection of raw materials, top assemblies, and finished goods. This is a 1st shift position. Your Responsibilities Include: Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements. Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits. Verifies specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists. Makes pass/fail decisions on inspected goods and applies QSR/cGMP requirements. Maintains records of results and understand good documentation practices. Inspections may involve compound angles or three-dimensional projections using inspection equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, telescope gauges, and optical comparators. Understands QSR and cGMP basic requirements. Applies good manufacturing practices to daily work habits. Required Qualifications: High School or equivalent and 0-1 years of experience. Experience working within a quality system Must be available to work at least core business hours of 9am-1pm. The rest of the shift hours must be completed during the day. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with various measurable equipment such as tool makers, scope, pin gauges and micrometer, etc. Medical Device experience preferred. High School or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience preferred.
