Job Description AMCOR FLEXIBLES is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of medical packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. The packaging is used to protect the sterility, potency, and condition of medical devices and pharmaceutical products used in emergency rooms, doctor" offices and clinics around the world. Job Responsibilities: Maintains continuous machine operations between shifts by reporting to assigned workstation prepared to assume production from previous shift at shift start. Maintains continuous machine during shift by loading, running, packaging, and stacking finished product. Performs and is responsible for in-process and final on-line inspection and testing of manufactured product. Ensures quality control requirements are understood and met by reviewing all special instructions and requirements. Documents items by performing required Statistical Process Control; quality checks/tests; lot number requirements; shipping label requirements. Resolves production problems by; notifying set up personnel for assistance; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources; if necessary, discontinue manufacturing operations until the problem is resolved. Maintains a safe and clean work environment of complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Documents production information into appropriate reporting system. Promotes teamwork and effective working relationships among all contacts by setting positive examples. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Responsible for working safely and maintaining a safe work environment; attends required training, identifies and reports hazards; wears required PPE for position; and is accountable for self as well as co-worker safety. Participates in and supports safety and continuous improvementteams. Experience and Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Skills and Abilities: Able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to count, document, and process required paperwork Basic math skills Able to read and interpret work instructions Able to continuously stand, grasp and forward reaching during entire shift Able to lift, carry, push or pull 50 lbs. occasionally during the shift Why choose Amcor?
