Berry Global – Mankato, MN plant is searching for a Lead Film Operator. This position leads and supports the day to day functions on the production floor for the shift. Troubleshoot and direct production concerns. Assists with training while being proficient in all tech levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working safely and knowledge of plant safety rules.

  • Proficient in all Tech responsibilities.

  • Directs production problem solving activities

  • Teaches technical skills to others

  • Leads production team

  • Tracks shift/line performance and reports to others

  • Require both castline and blown film operation skills

  • Advanced problem solving techniques

  • Knowing how to train effectively

  • ISO documents for job level

  • Making operating decisions

  • Communicating business performance

  • Participating with various projects or planning teams

  • Computer usage (spreadsheets, word, email)

  • Demonstrates leadership

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of three years related extrusion experience or training.
