POSITION: Manufacturing Production Supervisor

COMPANY: Pallet Service Corporation

LOCATION: Little Canada, MN

REPORTING: Plant Manager

RELATIONSHIP: Production staff members

Position Summary/Objective

Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Production Supervisor position is responsible for executing the production plan on the shop floor. This position focuses on maintaining a smooth flow of material and the execution of work orders to on-time completion. The Manufacturing Production Supervisor leads, directs and manages all other production resources.

Job Duties Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Staffing Levels to ensure that safety, quality, and production plans are met

  • Ensure training is complete for new and existing employees to process updates and changes

  • Direct Supervision of the second shift

  • Run and update daily capacity plan models as needed

  • Maintain Pull board

  • Take responsibility for resolving quality issues

  • Assume the safety supervisor role expanding and formalizing the current program.

  • Monitoring LOTO requirements

  • Monitoring PPE requirements

  • All other duties as require

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School degree or GED with 5+ years? related experience

  • Experience in the Lumber and Pallet industry a plus

  • 5 years of experience supervising in a Manufacturing based industry

  • Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety and 5S

  • Staff planning capability with financial awareness

  • Forklift Operator experience
