Pallet Service Corporation 1st Shift General Labor FT-Little Canada, MN in Little Canada, Minnesota
General Laborer is responsible for assisting the production areas with order completion, fabricating component parts and/or assembling the finished product according to the customer specifications. This position requires heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (possible OT on Saturday)
Job Duties Responsibilities:
Stacks completed products in accordance with established safety procedures
Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
Band and tag completed stacks of lumber and/or pallets
Assist with lumber cutting and/or pallet production (gun nailing, pallet repair)
Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
Maintains production records as required
Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
The position will require bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, pushing/pulling, twisting, standing and walking.
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:

Minimum 6 months of experience with manual labor is required; either in a construction or manufacturing operation
Working knowledge of basic math, ability to read a tape measure
Basic computer skills required, preferably within an inventory management system
