Industrial Fabrication Services INDUSTRIAL PAINTER / BLASTER in Lake Crystal, Minnesota

-Come to work every day, on time, prepared to work as directed by supervisor -Apply protective coatings to large industrial structures -Use proper protective equipment -Comply with safe painting practices and environmental standards (per EPA and OSHA regulations) -Prep material before painting following SSPC painting practices -Estimate time and quantity of materials required -Apply high-build epoxies, acrylics, polyurethanes, as well as industrial enamels according to project specifications -Utilize NDE testing equipment (thickness gauge, holiday testing equipment, wet-film thickness gauge etc.) -Coordinate with shop foreman for space requirements of dry time and materials layout -Maintain clean and organized equipment and paint booth (i.e. sprayer equipment, and application tools brushes) -Assess issues with surface preparation, such as anchor pattern and blasting issues -Assist in identifying welds and excessive splatter to be repaired -1 to 3 years of industrial painting experience in contract manufacturing environment
