Maintain accurate inventory.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Manage and train cycle count staff for all buildings
Control cost by minimizing potential missing product
Monitor date sensitivity of product
Establish parameters for tracking of product movement throughout the facility
Review daily inventory counts and mark-outs
Make necessary adjustments to balance inventory
Communicate with department and key organizational groups to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained
Work closely with Distribution Operations Team on inventory related issues
Analyze and solve inventory problems
Track, record and audit warehouse errors
Adhere to all Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines
Be an expert in inventory technology tracking system
- Assigned cycle counters
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Four year degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
Fundamental understanding of warehousing / distribution systems
Strong analytical, leadership and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and high degree of integrity
Customer driver, team player committed to maintaining and developing partnerships and strong working relationships with other departments
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Access
Must be willing and available for third shift work.
During part of the workday the incumbent will be moving about the Distribution Center warehouse floor Temperatures in the warehouse may vary between –20 to 70 degrees. Noise levels in all areas are within acceptable tolerance ranges for those specific work areas.
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
Incumbent will use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of the workday.
