The Operations Manager has oversight of H-E Parts Dom-Ex sales technical support, rebuild shop, warehouse functions, and field dismantling projects. This position direct reports include the inventory supervisor, rebuild shop manager, and administrative assistant. This position has responsibilities for the quality of service we provide, operational efficiencies, providing technical support for customers and staff, field service operations (internal and brokered/hired),
The Operations Manager has joint responsibly for company profitability and cost control. The manager regularly interacts with general manager, sales manager, rebuild shop and warehouse to monitor the timeliness of delivery, service support and customer relationship satisfaction. Parts and component expediting are critical functions as are overseeing the field service operations. In all activities, the manager promotes safe and ethical conduct personally and corporately.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety – conduct & ensure all activities are done in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is #1.
Hibbing Operations:Monitor and plan upkeep of property, buildings, utilities, equipment and tooling needed for operation.
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure safety policies are being followed.
Ensure company policies are being followed.
Review ongoing Cap-ex requirements are being evaluated and plan in place to ensure ongoing cost effective and productive output.
Assist with contractual agreements for equipment sales.
Manage field projects for purchased & sold equipment.
Ensure all heavy haul logistics are performed with the highest efficiency, freight recovery and to customer expectations.
Rebuild Shop: Manage sales and stock orders that run through the shop or that require outsourced service. Ensure customer communication, support and product deliveries are performed on time, within budget and with the highest levels of quality. Direct employees to meet customer expectations and company objectives. Ensure department is staffed to meet demand. Clearly communicate employee expectations and regularly provide formal and informal feedback regarding employee performance.
Regularly communicate upcoming demand with rebuild shop to ensure maximized customer satisfaction and production efficiency.
Ensure the repair and upkeep of tooling and equipment are being met.
Technical Support: Oversee Dom-Ex procedures and best practices. Directly manage the rebuild procedures, inspections and technical data.
Assist customers and employees with technical needs or requirements.
Administer warranty claims (or problem resolutions) to maximize efficiency and recovery while protecting stakeholders (investor, vendor, customer, and employee). Ensure quality lessens are learned and resolutions implemented.
Keep up to date on the various mining equipment and components used worldwide and educate staff as needed to assist in sales, reduce repair costs, ensure proper rebuild requirements and tolerances are met.
Inventory & Marketing: Oversee warehouse functions to ensure customer expectations are met and company assets are protected. Ensure department is staffed to meet demand. Clearly communicate employee expectations and regularly provide formal and informal feedback regarding employee performance.
Oversee ERP implementations
Ensure proper ERP operation to meet our requirements.
Ensure orders are delivered accurately, timely and professionally
Ensure all packaging, receiving reports and freight logistics are performed to the highest standard.
Ensure inventory control through weekly cycle counts, regular inventories and warehouse best practices.
Ensure marketing efforts are being met and product is being advertised appropriately to help assist sales team in meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree preferred.
5-10 or more year’s industry experience.
A professional, ethical and exceptional work-ethic.
Excellent organizational skills.
Extensive process and efficiency improvement experience.
Willingness to travel domestically and Internationally.
Must possess Valid driver’s license and passport in good standing.
Proficiency in MS Office.
