Aerotek Fabrication Shop Manager in Glenwood, Minnesota

Description:

Growing fabrication shop of 30 employees is seeking a hands on plant manager that will supervise the fabrication and machine shop. Oversee welding metal components together with brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, small and large structural weldments.

Qualifications: Strong leadership skills and 3+ years of prior supervisory experience. Must be able to read/interpret prints, engineering drawings, written instructions, manuals, safety rules. Candidates with additional skills who can work in other areas (manual fabrication, machining, assembly, etc.). Proficiency in forklifts, cranes, slings, hooks. Need to be able to lift 75 lbs, crouch, stand, twist.

PPE Required: Need helmet, gloves, safety glasses, steel toes

Day shift hours, but also responsible for a 2nd shift.

$80-$88,000 depending on Experience, plus 10% bonus potential.
