Superior Aerospace MANUAL MACHINIST in Fridley, Minnesota

JOB TITLE: MANUAL MACHINIST DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTS TO: Production Manager WRITTEN BY: HR POSITION OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE Promotes machinist support with hardware by furnishing tooling packages and overseeing secondary operations ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Inspect parts - Complete all required shop paperwork accurately and neatly - Selecting and using the right inspection equipment for the job at hand - Organized Tool Crib - Reducing set-up time with tool bag of fixtures - Reduces tooling costs by inspecting tools after use, repairing, sharpening and making special tools in house - Manual machining and deburring - General troubleshooting The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned this classification. EDUCATION: -High School Education EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - General knowledge of HSPP&D, Records Control, Statistical Tools, ISO Awareness, Safety Right to Know and Employee Handbook - Working knowledge of Document Control, Customer Prod/Equip, Product ID, Process Control, Inspection, Calibration, Inspection Status, NC Product and C&P Action - Minimum 5 years of recent related manufacturing experience The qualifications listed above are guidelines.
