This job involves assisting in the different steps in production of processing Turkeys Deboning Overview: The deboning production line starts with the full bird and breaks it down into smaller pieces as it goes further down the assembly line 1) People rotate every 30 minutes throughout the line, there are approximately 20 people on the line PPE Required: Smock, hairnet, beard net, hard hat, cut apron, nonslip boots, hearing protection, cut gloves, rubber gloves and side arm shields Job Duties: 1) Hanging the turkey (average 16-18 pounds) on hooks that are at waist to chest level 2) Cutting the full turkey in half with a clipper. 3) Cutting the turkey into pieces with knives 4) Feeding the turkey pieces into the deboning machine
