Eaton Corporation Scheduling Supervisor in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Eaton’s Hydraulics Division is currently seeking a Scheduling Supervisor to join our team! This position is based at our Eden Prairie, MN facility.
The Eden Prairie Scheduling Supervisor reports directly to the Materials Manager. The primary function of this role is to lead the Scheduling team in executing customer on-time delivery. Directs and controls the movement of materials into and within the plant. Manages key materials related functions such as purchasing, production scheduling, material planning, inventory control and supply planning.

You will manage scheduling team performance, including line rate planning and execution, on-time to release, customer on-time delivery.
You will understand the MRP/ERP functions and rules and continuously drives for improvements in the system (usage, accuracy, compliance, etc.) and integration into the manufacturing process, including the implementation of ERP Rules.
You will manage and review inputs (SIOP, cycle counting, physical inventory, profit planning) and controls (min./max. levels, ROPs, lead times, etc.) of the ordering process to ensure that inventory levels (purchase parts – VMI, in-transit, C-Level, consignment inventory, etc.) meet Plant, Division and Corporate expectations.
You will balance and coordinate the workloads and responsibilities of the employees within the Materials Planning / Scheduling function to support Plant level metrics in the areas of Financial Performance (overtime efficiency, on-time delivery, top line sales) by leveraging lean principles and plant balance (level loading, ship ahead schedules, etc.).
You will provide input, support and guidance regarding the Sales, Inventory, Operating and Planning (SIOP) process and use the process to drive improvements into the Materials Planning / Scheduling function to ensure adequate resources are identified, financial goals met, and customers are satisfied.
You will review master production schedule and work orders, establish priorities for specific customer orders, and revise schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, materials, machines and equipment.
You will manage ERP systems and direct communication with customers to insure level loading of product demand through the manufacturing process.
You will model the Eaton ethical conduct policy, the Eaton Values and Philosophy, and complies with all other corporate, plant, and regulatory policies and regulations as applicable. Support EBS, ELSS, and MESH initiatives.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more (or combination of) the following functional areas: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Materials Management, or Logistics.
Minimum of 2 year of experience in Materials Management: Material Planning, Master Scheduling, Materials Analysis, etc.
Minimum 2 year of experience working with a large scale MRP system; Oracle, SAP, MFG Pro, etc.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50 mile radius of the Eden Prairie, MN facility will be considered.
Master’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering from an accredited institution
APICS CPIM certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Master Scheduler
Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing or plant experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience with MRP master data management
