Req Id 27806 GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION This position is responsible for picking up work from technicians and final detailing. Approach - Performance of Duties (What to Do) Ensure repaired hearing aides are cleaned and buffed to specifications. Use JIT principles in performance of duties. Deployment - Essential Job Functions (How to Do It) Clean and buff 1250 aids each week. Pick up work from technicians. Wand repairs into QC area. Sort parts as needed. Results - Performance Measures (How to measure success) *Customer satisfaction Quality of Work Quantity of Work Attendance Other Duties (Non Measurable) Support Starkey Employee Corporate and/or Department Guidelines Check and verify quality. Support corporate health and safety objectives. React to change productively and handle other essential duties as assigned. Performance of Duties Knowledge, skills and abilities for performance of essential duties: Minimum education, certification and experience requirements Education: High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and comprehend various paperwork such as Standard Operating Procedures required Experience: None required. Previous hearing aid experience preferred. Training: 1-2 weeks. Skills & Abilities Good communication skills required. Good manual dexterity required. Jobholder will have noise in work area. Jobholder will work in a laboratory environment. Regular attendance and responsiveness to reasonable job-related directives as given by the supervisor.
