Supervisor Enterprise Operations ITJob Description

The Supervisor Enterprise Operations IT is responsible for managing the resources and services supporting our Enterprise Operations Center which provides operational functions such as production job monitoring, system health monitoring and system backups on a 7x24x365 basis and works with application owners to ensure that all standard operating procedures are complete and up to date. This position is responsible for making recommendations and facilitating continuous improvement to ensure that all standard operating processes maintain industry best practices, integrity, quality assurance, business relevance and alignment with department strategies.


  • Provide supervisory oversight for Enterprise Operations team members, including employee development through coaching, mentoring and performance management, and manage resources to workload through review, assignment, tracking, and overseeing all work related to the area of responsibility

  • Support all aspects of continuous improvement and apply process improvement techniques to drive results including analysis, development, implementation, documentation, training and governance of standards, policies, processes and procedures

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather information to measure and analyze issues and root causes affecting security, integrity and quality of controls in place for supported environments to develop and communicate recommended requirements and controls for continuous improvement

  • Work closely with IT Service Management and IT Availability Management teams to further extend the adoption of best practice, quality assurance and release management methodologies across enterprise, and ensure effective utilization of and compliance with departmental and company defined processes, procedures and standards. Participate in projects related to IT Service Management processes, workflow, training and tools development

  • Work closely with IT Security to ensure all security requirements are met and able to successfully pass all internal and external audits as related to this area of responsibility

  • Partner with process owners to drive results. Consult with business and IT teams to analyze current operations and production issues to identify areas of improvement, and continue to interface with those teams at various stages of improvement

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 10 years of work experience in wide range of IT roles with exposure to variety of technologies and applications

  • 5 years experience in at least two of the following areas:

  • Change Management

  • Information Systems Operations

  • Information Systems Management

  • Information Systems Service Delivery and Support

  • Information Systems Technologies

  • Standard Operating Procedure Development

  • Process Improvement

  • Project Management

  • Experience in information systems operations

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • 5 years of leadership/people management experience

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong cross-functional organization, process refinement/improvement, project management, and documentation skills

  • Strong problem solving and business analysis skills

  • Ability to multi-task, manage projects, set timelines and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL certification or similar service management experience

  • Familiarity with responsibility matrices such as RACI etc.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio

  • Commitment to excellence and attention to detail

  • Experience with Shift Left Methodologies

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call, and shifts outside of Prime’s core business hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
