Seeking Production Leader focusing in Manufacturing and Warehousing Operations

WHCC is a family-run professional photographic, press, and fine art printing lab. Our goal is to make printing, producing, and reselling products seamless and enjoyable for our clients. As a production-focused company, we employ hundreds of experts who handcraft our products here in the US. Our product, design, engineering, marketing, and customer service teams are made up of photographers and designers who love print and support our production.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strong Leader to oversee and manage the day to day operations of our Manufacturing and Warehousing teams.

Our ideal candidate will create an environment of positive culture and energy, continuous improvement, and secure business results.

This position requires a passionate, high-energy, dynamic individual with stamina, adaptability, and mental quickness to be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment. Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff will be imperative.

This role will be responsible for setting high standards and goals for the manufacturing and warehousing departments and ensuring that these standards and goals are achieved. This position will report directly to our owners.

Required Qualifications & Competencies?

  • 7+ years? direct operations management experience leading a team in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or similar type environment

  • BA degree in operations, engineering, business or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to effectively lead within all areas and coach team beyond current potential

  • Experience working with a contingent workforce during peak seasons

  • Demonstrated ability to continually drive improvement initiatives to ensure rigor of metrics

  • Strong analytical approach to problem-solving

  • Drive change by supporting, coaching and influencing others to achieve best results


  • Mid-size and/or family run business experience

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience

  • Engineering Degree or related experience

  • Photography or related industry experience

  • Other experience with Process Improvement, Workflow Development, and/or Streamlining Processes
