Position Summary: Bongards is looking for an energetic, motivated and dedicated individuals to join our production team as a Wrapper Operator. Job duties: Operate the Hart wrappers used to wrap process cheese slices. Produce quality wrapped packages. Keep wrapper in operating condition. Safe operation of the wrapper. Assist maintenance with troubleshooting. Assure the proper label is on the cheese packages. Assure the proper information is printed on the packages. Check all bottom and end seals for quality. Perform sanitation duties as assigned. Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead. Other requirements: Must demonstrate a commitment to both food and employee safety. Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Physical capabilities: Must be able to lift up to 38 pounds occasionally Must be able to lift 5 pounds frequently.
