The Resin Recovery Operator is responsible for properly grinding materials so they can be re-extruded.

This position is responsible for the following tasks, duties and responsibilities:
Properly labels and segregates different materials.
Grinds material at an acceptable rate per hour.
Packages, boxes, skids and warehouses material.
Properly weighs and labels ground material.
Properly completes paperwork.
Cleans grinders and tanks and general housekeeping activities
Maintains inventory of scrap materials and schedules grinding
Performs grinder preventive maintenance
Performs grinder blade changes
Follow all safety rules
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED; or one to three months related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Mathematics-Needs basic math skills. Must understand addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, in order to obtain reliable finished part counts. Must have the ability to read and interpret weight measurements on a scale.
Ability to read and write and speak English clearly.
Ability to read an amp meter.
Visual acuity to distinguish between materials.
Ability to obtain a forklift license and operate it safely.

Work will be performed in a manufacturing environment where all applicable safety procedures will be adhered. Area is well lighted and can exceed temperatures over 100 degrees.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Manufacturing environment that is well lighted, which requires the dexterity to work with equipment meeting safety requirements as well as production standards. Temperature in the production area can increase to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Regular exposure to loud noise requiring use of hearing protection.
Requires the use of safety glasses
Exposure to the smell of burnt plastic and dust.
