Danaher Corporation Technican Production Operations in Chaska, Minnesota

Days and hours are Mon-Thurs - 5:45AM - 4:15PM / Some OT available

Our manufacturing company is seeking a team member to join our Hardware Manufacturing Team. In this role you will be a decontaminate, disassemble, and complete inspection of returned modules from the field. You will then reassemble the modules replacing any mandatory or broken items, and complete necessary alignments. Finally, you will complete module level test process by which you will have to troubleshoot issues to identify appropriate rework/additional replacement items to return this module into a functional and usable state. This involves using test benches, multi-meters, etc. Upon completion this module is tested and passed to meet specifications and ends up as a refurbished replacement module for the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Read, comprehend and follow established work instructions and procedures with emphasis on quality, Execute the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards, Train to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow engineering drawings, work order information, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements, Independently execute work regarding alignment, calibration and performance testing of reagent instruments, Apply basic analytical skills or problem solving to perform daily tasks, Troubleshoot issues as they arise, escalating as necessary, Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory requirements, Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure emphasis on quality, Identify, recommend and implement quality improvements, Learn and participate in the company's lean manufacturing principles, Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, Perform other duties and cross training as assigned, Train new team members on equipment operations and work procedures as needed, Ability to complete appropriate paperwork, maintain accurate records of production and report status of work, Read, write and speak fluent English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand for prolonged period of time. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist. Using proper lifting techniques to lift up to 30 lbs. Associate must have good hand dexterity.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Our facilities are a heated, air-conditioned and humidity-controlled production floor and /or clean room environment. Our buildings are modern, with employee accessible WiFi, dedicated break, quiet, and collaborative spaces, and an on-campus cafeteria. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: AA Degree, Must have 0-1 years' relevant experience. Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g. FDA, ISO).
