Accraply Electro-Mechanical Assembler III in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

General Responsibilities: Read and analyze electrical and mechanical prints/bills of material to plan equipment build. Verify conformity of parts to BOM and prints and record any necessary changes. Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to specifications using proper tools and verifying conformance of parts. Check-out, troubleshoot and start-up PLC control panels HMI programming PLC Programming Build machines using assembly drawings or Solid Works models, abiding assembly prints and customer specifications. Collaborate with the project manager, and project engineers (electrical and mechanical). Effectively document the machine build and any changes made to the build. Debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems affecting proper operation. Perform final test and checkout of final assemblies. Communicate progress daily with Assembly Team Leader. Attend Assembly Start Meetings for assigned machines. Keep production area clean, neat and organized to allow efficient production. Maintain a tour ready appearance in the production area. May prepare equipment for customer shipment. Other duties as requested by Assembly Team Leader. Work the time necessary to meet the needs of the business and advise direct leader if any overtime is required. Qualifications: Possesses a sense of pride in their work. Education: High school diploma (Associates Degree preferred), or professional qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or an ability to demonstrate the necessary work experience. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience as an electro-mechanical machine builder in a manufacturing environment (experience in automated labeling systems is a plus). Minimum of 3 years of experience with check out, trouble shooting and startup of PLC control panels. Minimum of 3 years of experience with PLC programming. Minimum of 3 years of experience with HMI programming. Experience with AC and DC electronics. Experience working with sensors and instrumentation. Experience with pneumatics and pumps.
