This role is responsible for all aspects of the production process, production training, and maintaining certifications. This position is Full Time and will be located at our R&D Facility in Bloomington, MN, D shift position, will work 6:30 pm - 6:30 am Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday. Position reports to the RD Logistics/Training Supervisor. Responsibilities include: Primary responsibility is to train production operators to the current process for a specified tool set, certify them and maintain certifications on a yearly basis. Work from controlled processes and engineering instructions to construct developmental assemblies, production assemblies, sub-assemblies and components. May perform a wide variety of tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Perform inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Complete engineering requests as needed in the trainer request system. Review written processes and tests on a yearly basis and recommend changes or improvements to the responsible engineer. Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Work production 20% of the time or as needed to meet shipping commitments. - D Shift Position - 11.5 hours - Weekend Nights (Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday). 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM. The hours are subject to change with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalency required. Prior experience working with Wafer Build processes required. Demonstrated experience working on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required. Prior manufacturing experience in a clean room environment is required. Must be able to work an 11.5 hour shift in a clean room environment. Must have the ability to work D shift (Weekend Nights). Must have thorough understanding of Seagate systems (MES, RHOWeb, Xsite, Toolview). Prior experience using computer systems and Microsoft office. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve goals. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a fast-paced production environment. Prior training and certification experience.
