Position Summary:
Aveda, America’s premier creator and marketer of plant-based haircare, skincare, make-up, PureFume™ and lifestyle products seeks a Machine Operator to oversee a filling line. Coordinate a filling lines activities and personnel in a manner consistent with manufacturing department’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate the filling and assembly lines efficiently, assuring that all quality and safety processes are being maintained
Verify routings and consistently produce to standard cost
Eliminate accidents and continuously improve ergonomics
Produce products that meet all quality expectations and eliminate rejections.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience of 2 years in filling and packaging environment.
Skills:
Effective communication
Attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift 50 pounds
