Position Summary:

Aveda, America’s premier creator and marketer of plant-based haircare, skincare, make-up, PureFume™ and lifestyle products seeks a Machine Operator to oversee a filling line. Coordinate a filling lines activities and personnel in a manner consistent with manufacturing department’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the filling and assembly lines efficiently, assuring that all quality and safety processes are being maintained

  • Verify routings and consistently produce to standard cost

  • Eliminate accidents and continuously improve ergonomics

  • Produce products that meet all quality expectations and eliminate rejections.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience of 2 years in filling and packaging environment.

Skills:

  • Effective communication

  • Attention to detail

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
