Atterro Press Cell Operator -3rd Shift in Alexandria, Minnesota

Looking for a career opportunity with one of the area's top employers? Pro Staff is recruiting a Press Cell Operator for our manufacturing client in Alexandria. In this role, you ll operate equipment to produce aluminum parts to meet customer specs. Main duties include: Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently Understand and verify manufacturing orders Quality checks Maintain clean work area, using the 5S system Ensure work is done on a timely basis to meet customer requirements Perform preventive maintenance on machinery Cross-train in other areas You ll utilize the following types of manufacturing equipment: saws, extrusion press and inspection equipment, deburring machines, band chopper, pallet, basket and portable lifts, overhead and jib cranes, hoists, hydraulic carts, and hand tools. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent degree 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred Safety and team-focused Proficiency with MS Office Good basic math and measurement skills Ability to read drawings and inspect parts using inspection equipment Strong organizational skills This is a 3rd shift temp-to-hire opportunity. Hours are 10:30pm-6:30am Sun-Thurs.. Pay is $14.75+/hr, depending on experience. Interested in hearing more? Ask about a $500 hiring bonus!
