DescriptionVENTURA FOODS, LLC, a rapidly growing oil processor and manufacturer of margarines located in southern Minnesota, seeks a Quality Assurance Technician. Job duties will include routine testing of incoming product and analysis using established methods ensuring it meets specified quality levels. Prepare labs, perform calibrations, complete and audit paperwork, and perform weight control line audits on our 2nd shift.

Position RequirementsThe successful candidate will possess knowledge of chemistry, microbiological testing, and chemical safety is a plus. The must be proficient in use of MS Word and Excel; possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; and display strong organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, able to successfully prioritize multiple tasks, and demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment. A two-year degree in food science or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Physical Activity/Work Environment may include prolonged standing/walking, pushing/pulling/lifting over 50 lbs. and exposure to testing chemicals, noise, and slippery conditions.
