Job Description

Training to be able to tend to fluid beds during the flavoring process of food ingredient powders.


Basic mechanical aptitude by using machine specific tools.

Ability to work safely when learning the equipment and surroundings

Properly lock out and tag out equipment.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and how to keep the product safe

Assist coworkers in loading product and packaging final product; able to assist in packaging line with boxes, bags or totes.

Learn how to tear down equipment for cleaning

Learning how to assemble the equipment

Setting flow rates and starting equipment

Keeping up with equipment and product when running.

Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM


Language skills: Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning ability: Able to apply common sense understanding, to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer skills: Able to use Process Pro for basic agglomeration functions.

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Read and interpret written information. Maintain confidentiality. Communicate with line employees and supervisor as to status of the run. Write clearly and informatively. Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers to handle and feel. Must also be able to talk and hear. Frequently required to walk and reach with arms and hands. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and taste or smell. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes. Frequently exposed to airborne particles, wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Safety glasses and a bump cap required at all times in the plant work areas.
