We are seeking a couple hard working, self motivated individuals for Laborer Positions. Hours are Monday - Thursday 4PM - 2:30PM Pay for this temp to hire position is $15/hr Responsibilities: Count, inspect materials, and sort boards for defects to ensure conformance to specifications. Unload boards from hand trucks or pallets to sawmill deck and position boards on table for cutting. Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop or adjust machinery and equipment. Feed boards into the molders and/or saws. Remove materials and products from machines and equipment and stack on racks or trucks, using hand tools and moving devices. Identify and mark boards following specific regulatory instructions. Band finished work pieces, using hand tools and banding equipment. Perform general cleaning on machinery, equipment and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions. Experience and Knowledge: HS with 1 year of experience in the lumber distribution business. (Preferred but not required. Knowledge of raw materials and production processes.
